We drove all the way from Buffalo just to try this restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it! The service is outstanding, the food is delicious, and we can’t wait to come back!
I am a wheelchair user and was already frustrated before I got to the door because I saw a traffic cone blocking the sidewalk cutout, but upon approaching realized that I had plenty of room to get by and the cone was there to warn of the large crack it was covering. Then I saw a sign on the door with no threshold that said to use the next door that had a step. Before I got past the first door, a person who was ended up doing everything except cooking opened the door with no threshold and cleared a path for me. Throughout my visit, he was unbelievably aware and anticipatory of my needs even as the line of customers grew longer. His attentiveness was professional and not overwhelming of my space or autonomy and very much appreciated. The food was delicious. There were several gluten free options to choose from, though the menu is not marked that way and it is up to the patron to ask. The person working that day was very aware of ingredients, but I would be hesitant and/or overwhelmed if someone else were working. He accommodated my request to get a 1/2 order of falafel though it wasn’t on the menu which paired well with the lentil soup. Each entree had subtle flavors of cumin, coriander and other middle eastern spices that did not overwhelm or overpower. I was given take home containers without issue. My wife said that her gyro pita was delicious with all of the right notes of the flavors and textures she loves.
I tried the food and it was really delicious. Great quality, generous portions, and very friendly staff. Highly recommended and I will definitely order again.
I ordered the falafel pita pocket with a side order of tzatziki and wow it is so good. Exactly what I wanted for dinner tonight! I’ll definitely go back when I’m wanting Mediterranean food
Pita is one of my favorite restaurants in Rochester. Food is brilliant. I usually get the falafel pita (easily the best falafel in Rochester imho- each bite has the perfect amount of falafel, sauce, lettuce, and pickles), but when I've gotten other dishes they were also really good.
This one is really budget friendly restaurant. I have taken two seperate dishes chicken lamb over rice and fish fry special. Both are really delicious. This special offer is going on. I recommend to check over here. It will worth your money(100% guarantee).
Undoubtedly The best Mediterranean restaurant in Rochester. The beef kebab, kofte kebab and shawarma pocket sandwiches are phenomenal. The seasoning is done exactly like it’s done back home. Adding tahini sauce to make it the way it should be done. Absolutely delicious, felt I was back home immediately. The best!

Everything is SO FRESH and amazing. This place deserves to succeed. Friendly and fast service. We ordered Shawarma with side salad and falafel balls. The gentleman working the counter brought over some hummus and pita- freshly made and oh so good! Portions are large and prices are appropriate. I really wish we would have ordered some baklava to take home (we were in Rochester from out of town.) Can’t wait to go back!
